Keep the microphone close to your mouth (not to close)
Use a pop screen filter to remove harsh syllables and p's
Record in a quiet place
Be aware of reflective sounds off hard surfaces (re-verb)
Use a Microphone stand
Talk with interest, inflection, pauses and natural tone
