Web 2.0 tools are applications that facilitate interactive information sharing. Web 2.0 sites give users the ability to create and edit their sites and allows them to collaborate with other users. Examples of web 2.0 sites are;
social-networking: My Space, Facebook, Togetherville, Conduit.
blogs: Edublogs, Moogo, Blogger.
wikis: Wikipedia, Wikispaces, Wiki.
video-sharing: You Tube, Vimeo, 4videosharing.
folksonomies: Delicious, Bookmarking, Social Marker.

Summary
In summary I think that all the tools that I looked at would be great for personal use. I especially liked Flickr with all the different functions. For school though, I think that Wikispaces would be the best due the to amount of control that you can have and that it is not visible to the public. Google groups could be used for all grades, by adjusting the difficulty of the tasks. I really like the use of the delicous bookmark bar in mozilla, I would definitely use this in my class as you only have to update it once and all computers will have the links
